A Garden Tea Social

Together on Saturday, August 24th 2019 we invited to taste summer with the wildest of garden tea parties. Together we explored a world where elegance and nature can co-exist. We took the time to learn about wild foods, herbs and edible flowers, discussed how to forage both urban and natural landscapes for sustainable and energizing foods. And here’s the added bonus, it looked and tasted amazing. Throughout the course of the afternoon guests enjoyed fresh tea blends of summer foraged harvests curated by our sponsors. These 12 teapots were featured around the beautiful venue setting The Hive, where guests self-served and engaged directly with each unique teapot, revealing the aromatics of fresh harvest brews and reading about the featured plant qualities.

Between sips, guests enjoyed fresh wild horderves and desserts, a few of which will be featured as“Culinary demonstrations” by local chefs (or catering sponsors), throughout the afternoon. Live music also contributed to the ambience of the afternoon as the main entertainment.

And of course we had fun posing in front of an alluring photo wall, capturing

everyone’s fashionable #ootd [outfit of the day].
